    • geoexmap (Geospatial Exposome Map), an open-source, community-engaged, geospatial web app first launched in 2026 to support community outreach and engagement work in reducing cancer burden within the state of Washington, the catchment area for the Fred Hutch Cancer Center (funded by Dillon Family Foundation)

      • geoexmap contains >175 variables on environmental and health data at the census tract (i.e., neighborhood) and county levels
      • Created using a community-engaged approach to incorporate valuable input from Fred Hutch Cancer Center Community Coalitions

      • To promote disease prevention and control efforts, health and prevention tips are provided with links to actionable, practical, evidence-based strategies for exposure mitigation of modifiable risk factors as well as resources for health and well-being

      • geoexmap was designed with reproducible and scalable methods to facilitate adoption by other cancer centers and institutions, created using open-source software (R Shiny, leaflet, Docker) and publicly available geospatial data (see GitHub repository)

These models are available for linkage with study populations (using locational information such as geocoded residential addresses) to conduct exposure assessments for epidemiologic studies. Contact us for more info.
